Central Arizona Rainbow Education (C.A.R.E.) is an organization that serves the LGBTQ community in the rural areas of Central Arizona. Although most of our members are located in the city of Casa Grande, we are still looking to provide services to Pinal, Maricopa, Pima, and Gila Counties. Our mission is to provide both resources and services to under-served areas within Central Arizona by working with already existing LGBTQ organizations.
5th Annual March for Equality
On Saturday March 30th 2013, CARE will be hosting their 5th Annual March for Equality. The line-up this year includes four national headliners. Those headliners are: Daniel Hernandez Jr, Adrienne Alexander, Jiggly Caliente and Phi Phi O'hara. This event is free and is open to all ages to attend. A small march will take place at 10am. All are encouraged to bring signs, their voices and rainbow items that point out to the general public the injustices that our community still faces. The march is then followed by a 4 hour festival at noon. The festival takes place at Peart Park. A $10 Meet and Greet with Adrienne Alexander, Jiggly Caliente and Phi Phi O'hara will be available to those wishing to take advantage of this opportunity between the hours of 4pm and 5pm.
