OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is that Substance Use Disorder is a treatable disease with the right combination of care. We believe that stigma makes addiction worse. Many people refuse to seek help in their struggles due to stigma. To us, this is unacceptable. Therefore, we are actively engaged in the fight against stigma in our communities. We firmly believe and declare that together we can eliminate stigma and be
COMMUNITY STRONG
COMMUNITY STRONG
We have to help our country see that addiction is not a character flaw or moral failing, it is a disease of the brain. - U.S. Surgeon General Murthy
OUR APPROACH
We believe that Substance Use Disorder is a treatable disease that has biological, psychological, social and spiritual components. We believe everyone has the ability and strength to overcome this disease with the right combination of care.
One of the biggest needs we saw in our community was to increase the number of recovery group support meetings offered. These meetings are crucial in developing the fellowship needed to find and enjoy recovery. We host 12 meetings a week (with the ability to add more as needed) addressing different substances and approaches to finding recovery. Come and share your experience, strength, and hope. View our calendar here for a full schedule.

Every CAREaz client goes through an assessment to identify their individual needs, struggles and goals. Through our Personal Empowerment and Endless Recovery (PEER) Program, we offer help in navigating processes involving ID documents, vital records, AHCCCS, DES, DCS, employment, behavioral health referrals, and housing. We also offer non-emergency medical transports to detox and treatment facilities across the state. Come in and see how we can help.

Our Live Free Reentry Program is a mentor based community program to assist individuals in reintegrating into our community after detention and incarceration. Through our volunteer community coaches, individuals gain meaningful relationships and help in navigating their unique struggles. Please contact us if you or a loved one has interest in enrolling in our reentry program or becoming a community coach.
